Raf Simons: History Of My World is a corner-exhibition in Athen’s NUMBER 3 store, the latest project of Dimitris Papadopoulos, who previously collaborated with COMME DES GARÇONS to bring two of their celebrated Guerrilla Stores to the city. NUMBER 3 retains the COMME DES GARÇONS Guerrilla hallmarks of discreet location and rare archive merchandise, but to these features adds selected other brands, including Raf Simons (from Autumn/Winter 2012), Medicom Toy Corporation, Original Fake by KAWS and others. The new Raf Simons collaborations begins today with the History Of My World project, a selection of archive pieces spanning all of Raf Simons’ carreer, exhibited in the shop and sold online, a perfect way to get acquainted with this wonderful shop and review Raf’s approach to menswear while we wait for him to take artistic control of the Dior colossus.
